A new start for Pontypridd Foodbank!
We have been providing our services in Pontypridd for the last 12 years. This has been as part of the Church in Wales Pontypridd Ministry Area where we have been running as a project. We remain extremely grateful to the Ministry Area for all their guidance and support over the years. However, as the foodbank has grown it has become increasingly clear that new arrangements needed to be put in place for the running of it.
Our exciting news is that we received confirmation from the Charity Commission on 17 July that Pontypridd Foodbank has been registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, charity registration number 1203999.
You won’t see any changes to the faces you see at our Riverside Centre, and our service will continue to operate in the same way. It does mean though that we will need to set up a new bank account because of the change to our charity number.

Please could you make sure that we have an email or postal address for you so that we can notify you when our bank account changes? We always want to be able to acknowledge your kindness and generosity, as well as being able to let you know about things that we’re doing.
Sadly, in the current climate of a cost of living crisis, our services are needed more than ever. We continue to campaign for an end to the need for emergency food aid and we thank you all for your ongoing support for our work.
