April COVID-19 UPDATE

7th April 2020

DONATIONS

We are still going strong and our stocks are holding up well during this latest crisis. but please do keep on donating food, either by dropping a few tins into the collection points at Sainsbury’s Pontypridd or Tesco Upper Boat or even popping to St Lukes Rhydyfelin during our opening hours and donating in person.

VOLUNTEERS

At present we are not looking for anymore volunteers, though normally we are crying out for help, to ensure that we can operate safely and keep the recommended 2 meters apart, we are at max. Should we start needing to open for longer or need to open more days, this may change, so please do keep an eye on here and our facebook page

THOSE WHO NEED OUR HELP

If you are a person that has had to move on to benefits or have lost your income all together, please do not go to bed hungry, we are here to help those who are in financial crisis, regardless of the cause. Thanks to the amazing support we are receiving from Travol, we are looking to moving to a delivery only service in the coming weeks, but in the mean time you can get a delivery from us by contacting the following services and requesting a voucher code and delivery.

  • Housing Officer if you are a housing association/council tenant
  • Citizens Advice Bureau
  • RCT Council help line
  • Social Working Teams

Keep home and keep well
